Team Treehouse Ambassador

**January 2023**

2022 started off great! I had my 148 JJ going great! She had stepped up to 90cm easily and had her first day hedge hopping! Sadly she was then injured for most of the summer! Over that time I took over my mums horse Treacle, a 4 year old unraced thoroughbred! She was a blank canvas but happily stepped up to 80cm very quickly! Her dressage has become very impressive over this time! This is what we are currently focusing on but soon she will be jumping again! JJ is now back and jumping, having a bit too much fun! It was a very annoying year, not doing much but lots of hill work! However now that both JJ and Treacle are back in for 2023 we are hoping for a very exciting season full of eventing!

*Update 2022*

In 2021, I got my pony JJ who is a 6 year old Connemara and I hope to event her at pony trial level! She is still very green and is currently competing at 90cm. We currently have 4 youngsters at home (including JJ) and hopefully they all have a bright future ahead of them! I also had a great year pony racing where I was placed in the top 4 in nearly all of my races on Churchill. This year, I am aiming to have completed a BE100 on JJ by the end of the season and have lots of fun on all of the ponies and horses! I am extremely grateful for Treehouse’s support and I am super excited to carry on being one of their supported riders for the upcoming season!

**January 2021**

My name is Myrtle Scudamore, I’m 12 years old and I have been riding all of my life.

I currently ride 2 wonderful ponies. My main pony is Fly. We compete at 100cm and event up to 90cm. He has been nothing but amazing since the day he arrived at mine! Our plans for 2021 are to do BS up to 100cm as we’ve only just moved up to it, qualify for Blue Chip and do a few BE90s. We mainly want to have fun as it is most likely my last year on him. Fly is grey and he’s 10 years old. We compete most weekend in arena eventing, eventing and show jumping.
My other pony is Churchill who is a 138 racing pony. I have recently been given the amazing opportunity to ride Churchill and I can’t wait to see what we can get up to! My main aims with him are to start get high placings in the point to point series and then hopefully move up to racecourse series. I have only galloped him a few times and if all goes well, our first racewill be in January. He is bay and he’s 15. I haven’t got any photos of me riding him as he’s quite new!
