Team Treehouse Brand Ambassador

Hi, I’m Laura, a 16 year old event rider from Gloucestershire. I’ve loved horses all my life but my real love for eventing came when I got my second pony Lyon when I was 10. From there I produced him from an unproven 4 year old to eventing at BE Novice (110) and being selected as part of the Central U18 team at the National 100 youth championships held at Frickley Park in 2019, where we jumped double clear. After sadly outgrowing him we sold him last summer and I moved onto horses, gaining experience from my lease horse Wills Rebel who showed me the ropes at Novice during the 2020 season, highlights including a 3rd place at Weston Park ONu18, as well as double clear and 6th in the ON at Moreton Morrell. My new horse ‘Cooley Vacation’ aka Gus is a 7 year old ISH and is an exciting prospect for next year, who will hopefully be the horse on which I trial for Juniors and Young Riders with. He has already shown his massive potential by placing 3rd in the Winter Series BE Jump Training which qualifies him for the championships in February. I am very excited to be entering 2021 with him as I believe he has a very bright future, and its a great honour to be working with Treehouse next season as I am sure they will be so supportive and hopefully I will be an asset to their Brand Ambassador program.
